AFFORDABLE FIDDLE LEAF TREE

I avoided faux plants for the longest time because I told myself they were "cheap" looking, but between my lacking green thumb and our wild household, live plants probably don't stand a chance-- so I finally caved, I got a fake plant! I really like the fresh feel that plants bring into a space but I'm not a fan of how pricey these babies can be! As I shopped around, I saw prices ranging from $60-$200+. Maybe it's a good investment, worth it in the long-run, but finding a more affordable option is my thing. I always feel like a boss when I find/create something just as good as high-end for a fraction of the cost. Luxe for less, baby! If you are into faux house plants, you'll love this.

Walmart has these 40 inch fiddle leaf trees for $30! I purchased this metal stand (also from Walmart) for $6 and made the plant a little more trendy by adding some little details. There are so many different paint designs you could do, from stripes to aztec. You can also add tassel or poms. Or even place your tree base into a fun basket! Hobby Lobby has this easy tutorial that I love, for a beaded tassel! So fun, so easy, so cute. I included some basket style ideas below with different fringe, paint, tassels, and poms for inspo!
