I wanted a cute, modern piggy bank for my little man, but I just could not find anything I liked as I browsed the stores and the web. So of course, why not create my own? Plus, I had just the right materials on hand! These baby snack containers have so much upcycling potential haha! Even though the point of a piggy bank is to eventually "break" it open, I was wanting something a little less fragile and a little more kid friendly, so this container was perfect. You could also turn these into fun sensory toys by filling them with different items and sealing the lid on so baby can roll and shake all day long. As for a piggy bank; remove the label, cut a small opening in the lid, decorate the outside, and you're all set!
