FAUX BANGS (FOUR DIFFERENT STYLES)

It doesn't matter how many times I cut myself fringe bangs and regret it, I always end up making that same "mistake" over and over again. I see pictures of bangs and I lonnnng to have them. My problem is that my hair really doesn't lay well for fringe bangs + I have a very stubborn hairline cowlick! It's one of those hairstyles that I wish I could have for a day and wake up the next day without them. Wait, I can! I got creative and created four different hairstyles with FAUX BANGS. Yessss! Now, if we could come up with a an idea for us long-haired ladies to have short hair for a day!

TOP BUN WITH BANGS

GATHER HAIR INTO A HIGH PONYTAIL AND SECTION OUT A PIECE THICK ENOUGH FOR BANGS

TAKE THE SECTION THAT WILL BE USED FOR THE BANGS AND WRAP IT AROUND THE PONYTAIL UNTIL YOU GET THE LEGNTH YOU NEED. (SHORTER HAIR MAY NOT NEED WRAPPED AROUND AT ALL.) PIN THIS SECTION DOWN WITH MULTIPLE BOBBY PINS.

USE A STRAIGHTENER AND COMB TO SMOOTH AND SHAPE THE BANGS.

I LIKE TO ADD A HEAD WRAP SO THAT IT LOOKS MORE NATURAL, BUT THIS STEP IS OPTIONAL.

HALF PONY WITH BANGS

WITH HAIR DOWN AND PARTED DOWN THE MIDDLE, TAKE A SECTION OF HAIR FROM THE BACK THAT IS THICK ENOUGH FOR BANGS.

BRING IT FORWARD AND PIN DOWN.

FOR LONGER HAIR: REVERSE THE PIECE AND PIN AGAIN TO ACHIEVE THE DESIRED LENGTH.

GATHER HAIR FROM THE SIDES AND BACK AND PUT IT IN A HALF PONY TO COVER THE PINS IN THE HAIR.

USE A STRAIGHTENER AND COMB TO SMOOTH AND SHAPE THE BANGS.

FOR MORE VOLUME, TEASE AND BACKCOMB THE PONY

I LIKE TO ADD A HEAD WRAP SO THAT IT LOOKS MORE NATURAL, BUT THIS STEP IS OPTIONAL.

BRAID WITH BANGS

WITH HAIR DOWN, GATHER A SECTION OF HAIR FROM EITHER SIDE OF YOUR HEAD THAT IS THICK ENOUGH FOR BANGS.

BEGIN PINNING IT DOWN ACROSS YOUR HAIRLINE.

FOR LONGER HAIR: REVERSE THE PIECE AND PIN AGAIN TO ACHIEVE THE DESIRED LENGTH.

PIN THE ENDS FORWARD.

ADD A HEAD WRAP TO COVER THE PINS.

USE A STRAIGHTENER AND COMB TO SMOOTH AND SHAPE THE BANGS.

HAT WITH BANGS

WITH HAIR DOWN, GATHER A SECTION OF HAIR FROM EITHER SIDE OF YOUR HEAD THAT IS THICK ENOUGH FOR BANGS.

BEGIN PINNING IT DOWN ACROSS YOUR HAIRLINE.

FOR LONGER HAIR: REVERSE THE PIECE AND PIN AGAIN TO ACHIEVE THE DESIRED LENGTH.

PIN THE ENDS FORWARD AND ADD A HAT OF YOUR CHOICE.

Four great options to temporarily change up your look! Which one is your favorite? I really like the half pony!
