“If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.”

Have you heard that saying? I believe it. I believe that our Heavenly Father does not give us any challenge or trial that we cannot handle. As one of my favorite scriptures states, He will always find a way (1 Nephi 3:7 "And it came to pass that I, Nephi, said unto my father: I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them.") I believe that He helps us through the challenges we face. Though, I also believe that He will not get us through it without our own work and faith. We cannot sit back and let Him do it for us. We are faced with these challenges for a specific reason. Although we cannot expect Him to do all of the work for us, He will do it with us. But that’s not my point in today’s thought. I want to add that even if He didn’t bring us to it, He will bring us through it. There are adversities that we face in life that I believe weren’t God’s plan. We have the gift of agency in this life, to make our own choices. What a beautiful thing. But sometimes, the choices of others take a not-so-beautiful toll on our lives. We can be left hurt, challenged, tattered, torn. Heavenly Father is there for us through these moments too.

The same goes for the situations that we get ourselves in, due to our own agency. There are times that we fall short, times that we take ourselves down a not-so-ideal path and we need help getting back in the right direction. We brought ourselves to it, but it doesn’t mean He won’t help us through it.

There are trials that He brings us to, others that He didn’t have planned for us, but through our faith and our personal efforts, He is sure to get us through any hardship we face.

Even if He didn’t bring us to it, He will bring us through it.

The other day, as I was stressing about cleaning my floors and keeping them clean, removing our shoes at the entryway and keeping the brand new white rug stain-free, I had a thought come to me— Isn’t
