I could go on and on about all of the self-tanning products I have tried, what I do or do not like about each, and which ones are worth spending your money on, but sometimes ya just wanna get right to the good stuff! Right!? So I'm not going to waste my time, or yours, going through all of the pros and cons of each product, when there is simply just one that I completely recommend trying. So, we will get right to it, but before doing so, I will just insert a list of products that I have tried, so that you have an idea of what I am comparing this product to.

Fake Bake: Luxurious golden bronze instant self tan mousse | Karora: Express bronzing mousse | St. Tropez: Classic bronzing mousse | St. Tropez: Extra dark bronzing mousse | Loving tan: Deluxe bronzing mousse ultra dark | Jergen's: Natural glow daily moisturizer | L.A. Tan: Luxury sunless mousse

Don't get me wrong, some of these products are good products, but... why spend $50 when you can spend $10 on something just as good!?

Drum roll please...

b.tan: Tanned AF.

Yeah girl, that's the one. That is the product that I'm loving right now. In comparison to the products listen above, (from high-end to drugstore) I've honestly found this one to be the best bang for buck! I actually have very fair skin, but you wouldn't know it with this tanning mousse! No self-tanner smells wonderful, no self-tanner lasts quite as long as we wished it would, but this one checks all of the boxes a 21st century self-tanner can check. Plus it's 100% vegan...if that's something that's important to you.

Instant color✔️

Long-lasting✔️ Application color-guide✔️ Streak-free✔️ Faint odor✔️

Result color/non-orangey✔️

Okay, let me break those down a little.

I like to shower, exfoliate, moisturize (and all that jazz,) and apply my tanner before bed. (I'm not going to go into detail about my self-tanning routine. If you're interested, let me know in the comments below and I will go into detail in a separate post.) I wake up with a beautiful color the next morning that develops even more over time. That being said, this tanner does give you a slight glow instantaneously once applied, which is nice if you have an event and need a quick glow. It's also buildable. A one time application is enough for me, but if you want a little something more, apply this baby two nights in a row and you'll be looking like a Brazilian babe! (I did do two coats for these photos.) As I mentioned, the longer I leave it on before rinsing, the better and this tan lasts nearly 5 days for me before it begins to fade (that is if I do not soak in any tubs, pools, or other types of body of water). Because this tan has a guide color, you can see where you have/have not applied it, which helps you get a nice, even and streak-free tan! The smell is not too strong and it leaves you with a gorgeous bronzed color that is not orangey.

b. tan has other shades (with other names) and even a tan remover. Find these products at Walmart, Target, Amazon, or their website:
